Engineering Services

Control System Design

Our staff has accumulated many years of experience in the design and implementation of control systems. We can help analyze current operations and assist in the design phase of any project to ensure that the result meets customer requirements.

    2. Our programming experience include a broad range of PLCs including the following manufacturers and models:

  3. Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)

    4. Automation projects frequently require interfacing with management information systems to provide integrated environments and may require auxiliary or customized applications and reports to augment performance. Our implemented designs have included many types of databases, information systems, and custom application interfaces including:

    • Databases: MS SQL, MS Access, and other embedded databases
    • GUI Applications: C#, VB.NET, C++
    • Report Generation
  4. Local and Remote Communications

    5. Many control systems include distributed or networked nodes linked together to form the foundation for control architecture. Our project designs have included many types of communication interfaces such as Telemetry/microwave point-to-point and multi-drop communications Fiber optic/copper/radio networks.
    Often non standard or customized protocols from existing equipment need to be interfaced. We have written many custom programs for communications interface to peripheral devices. Some of these interface protocols are for:

    • Modbus TCP/RTU/ASCII
    • SRTP & EGD (GE PLCs)
    • DNP3

Oil and Gas Industry

Zagora Systems focuses its services primarily on the design, implementation, and support of industrial automation in the oil and gas industry. This has allowed us to develop extensive engineering experience in complex real-time control and data processing. We offer expertise in Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, terminal/station automation, and truck rack loading facilities. Most of our project designs include the use of PLCs at the field level for distributive control and real-time processing.

  2. Installation, Startup, and Training

    3. An effective design is only as good as its installation and operation. After design and development are finished, we provide the necessary engineering services for the installation and startup in order to meet the customer’s original objectives. Zagora Systems can provide a variety of training services, from operations and maintenance training for recently completed systems, to specialized training on most types of industrial automation projects. We can provide system documentation services including operations and maintenance manuals.
